Candida Approved Mustard
Many people have a hard time without condiments. Mustard is so easy to make and so inexpensive and so much better for you than the store type.
Penzey’s is my favorite place to buy spices.
Equal parts of ground mustard seed with water
Or you can get a little fancier….2 tablespoons dry mustard powder
1 tablespoons water
1/2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1/2 tablespoon white wine
OR you can get even fancier
11/2 ozs. of brown or yellow mustard seeds
1/8 cup equivalent to whatever kind of stevia you are using
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. black cracked pepper)
1/2 tsp. of turmeric
1/2 cup of white vinegar
(this recipe makes a little over a 1/2 cup)
Put the mustard seeds, sugar salt, pepper, turmeric into a blender and whirl. Gradually add the liquid one tablespoon at a time.
You should have a coarse paste, let this stand or rest for 20 minutes.
Spoon into a clean
jar,cap tightly and store in the refrigerator. This should be ready in about two weeks..
