Don’t be fooled. Just because you are standing in the health food store does not mean it meets your standards of being healthy. Corn syrup solids are not on my list. I was duped in by the beautiful packaging and trigger word of being fermented. So I want to know, do you read labels? Are there specific ingredients that you stay away from? For me corn is an issue. It flares my arthritis and does not walk me toward those goals of waking up pain free ready to start my day.

Here it is, our ‘how to’ on our 4 step facial line.

Your face is important to us and we’ve handmade our products to be as naturally organic and beautiful as you are to gently wash away the muck of everyday.

4 step facial routine

step 1: cleanse

cleanse skin 1-2 times daily to sweep away makeup and pore clogging impurities. Dampen your skin with warm water, lather both sides of bar and massage into face avoiding eyes. Rise thoroughly with warm water.

our facial bars: Lets go back to the bar, we are face deep in cream and liquid facial cleansers when we had it so good with the bar. So bar one or bar two you say? Our Rose + Coal combination bar is everybody’s fav. I’d try that one first unless you are on the oily side, then we suggest the Sea Clay + Coal. Both clays have the ability to absorb impurities like makeup, oil and dirt while they differ in how much they are absorbing from the skin. Our sea clay pulls just a tad more then our rose. We know there’s a charcoal craze right now, and for good reason. Charcoal detoxifies, it naturally penetrates and draws other elements into itself leaving your skin clean without chemicals. Purely organic and NEVER a trace of parabens or formaldehyde.

 

4 step facial routine step 2: exfoliate

use 1-2 times weekly to remove dead, dry skin and residual dirt. With dampened skin use pea size of polish, gently rub in circular motions around face and neck. For best results let sit for 3-5 minuets. Rinse and pat dry.

step 3: tone

use after cleansing and exfoliating or throughout the day to refresh skin. Close eyes and spray toner over face and neck following cleansing and let air dry.

We love this as a mid-day makeup refresher, to use as a facial tonic, sunburn relief, or even a complete mind refresher! Cucumber has some amazing qualities which makes it so wonderful for the skin! apply face cream morning and evening after cleansing, exfoliating and toning. Use pea size amount to distribute and gently smooth over face and neck.

That’s right, we may sound a little over confident but if your sister with the oily complexion can use it along with your aunt Mary, who’s insufferably dry, as well as yourself who’s a little of both, then yeah, we think that’s something to celebrate. This is a fragrance free product but has a naturally occurring earthy yet slightly sweet scent. A pea size amount is recommended for face/neck area unless you’re experiencing extra dryness. Rich with red raspberry seed oil, borage, jojoba, and meadowfoam oils. Purely organic and NEVER a trace of parabens or formaldehyde.
