Summer Allergy Tips

Are you one of the 19 million adults in the United States who experience allergies?

Are allergies slowing you down? Let's discuss the benefits of Magnesium Soak, Butterbur, and Stinging Nettle in managing allergies. Learn how these remedies work and the importance of building a relationship with them. No cure, but they make allergies more manageable. Take action before allergy season hits!

Chapter 1 Magnesium

Are you tired of reaching for your tissues because of allergies? They’ve slowed you down, made you sleep more, and you wake up exhausted? Let’s talk about some solutions.

Magnesium, Butterbur, and Stinging Nettle. Let’s start with Magnesium Soak. Magnesium reduces your histamine reaction when there is an exposure to something that has triggered allergies in the past. When we’re at cell saturation of 6.3 or above on our Magnesium RBC Red Blood Cell Test, we are adding a fundamental layer for our body not to overreact to allergies. Does it cure allergies entirely? No, but it makes them more manageable.

Chapter 2 Butterbur

Let’s take a moment to talk about how Butterbur ends up and the relationship you need to form when using an herbal remedy. You need to find which one works for you. Over the years, I’ve seen Butterbur and Stinging Nettle work the best.

I take both of them, but Stinging Nettle and Butterbur work similarly yet differently. Butterbur is in the family of ragweed, and for some, it can aggravate allergies. That’s why you need to test it and build a relationship with it. Ideally, start 30–60 days before allergy season for the best results.

Chapter 3 Stinging Nettle

Stinging Nettle reduces the histamine response, working best when taken 30–60 days before pollen season. It also helps if you’re already experiencing symptoms like itching, sneezing, and runny nose. For maximum benefit, look for freeze-dried forms and follow the packaging instructions.

Chapter 4 Personal Tips

I grew up in central California, where pollen counts were high, and I had allergies as a child. Today, I manage them with a few consistent habits:

  • Take a quick bath before bed during pollen season to wash pollen off the body.
  • Switch pillowcases frequently (every night during peak season).
  • Stay hydrated, since dehydration makes pollen aggravate symptoms more easily.

These small, consistent actions—along with Magnesium, Butterbur, and Stinging Nettle—help me reduce seasonal allergy symptoms.

Now, I want to know what you’re going to do to help reduce your seasonal allergies so you can get back out there and enjoy summer.
